Quality Technician

TD Fiber, based in High Point, NC, is a leader in the high-loft nonwovens industry. In September we will celebrate our 100th anniversary. Our customers include premium brands in upholstered furniture, bedding, hygiene, appliances, packaging, and related consumer goods.

The company is recruiting for a Quality Technician to help ensure that products manufactured at TD Fiber meet the specifications our customers and company require.

This position has responsibility in the following areas:

• Monitoring Quality in Manufacturing & Converting
• Developing Improving Quality Control Systems
• Training Staff on Quality Requirements
• Creating Reports to Communicate Quality Performance

The candidate should have the following qualifications: a minimum of two years’ quality experience in a manufacturing management (preferably in textiles); or alternately an associate or bachelor’s degree in a math, science, or a similar technical area.

The candidate should have strength in the following areas: attention to detail, mathematical analysis, and advanced knowledge and skills with Excel. In addition, she/he should have the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, the capability to engage with a diverse group of employees, and the ability to work independently.
