Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our precast concrete team. This role involves designing and detailing various types of precast concrete projects, as well as reviewing construction documents and QA/QC processes.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced project managers, all holding professional engineering licenses. Our Media office offers a dynamic yet relaxed work environment, characterized by a small, supportive team and a stable workload.
Responsibilities:
- Design and detail complex precast concrete projects.
- Review construction documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients on multiple projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and calculations.
- Develop and implement effective QA/QC processes.
Requirements:
- Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) licensure is required, Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure preferred.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and technical software.
- 3 years of experience in precast concrete or structural concrete design.
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures PC, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
