Overview Assist in the design, implementation, and modification of the shop layout and work holding fixture models. Key Responsibilities Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :
- Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design software applications.
- Applies creative problem-solving skills.
- Enjoys working with operations and engineers to create innovative solutions.
- 2D layouts and 3D modeling.
- Estimates durations for project development and meets deadlines.
- Frequent contact with internal customers.
- Reports to Manufacturing Engineering Manager or Supervisor. Experience
- Course work in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 1 to 3 years of work experience.
- Has a working knowledge of SolidWorks and DraftSight.
- Experience with drawing specifications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with 2D layouts and 3D modeling.
- Desire to learn scanning technology.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
