What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audiologist needed for Veteran Disability Benefit Exams in Amarillo, TX position at TDB Communications, Inc.?
TDB Communications, a small business that is owned and operated by a disabled veteran, is seeking Audiologists who are willing to conduct one-time exams in their office for Veterans seeking a new or adjusted disability rating.
In this role, you will review medical history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment audiology compensation and pension exams for Veterans. The Practitioner will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs for disability award determinations.
DETAILS:
There is no treatment required as this exam will include only a general examination, and medical record review if requested on the initial VA request.

REQUIREMENTS:
1 year of Audiology Experience (Required)
Providers must have an available office or permission to utilize a colleague's office, within 100 miles of Sierra Vista, as well as a soundproof booth.
Providers must have an active state medical license in good standing and free of significant sanctions or malpractice claims.
COMPENSATION:
These assessments (C&P Exams) are to be performed on an independent 1099-contract basis and the fees are paid directly to you.
