TDB (A small business that is owned and operated by a disabled veteran) is seeking Optometrists/Ophthalmologists who are willing to conduct one-time exams for Veterans.
These assessments (C&P Exams) are to be performed on an independent 1099 contract basis and the fees are paid directly to you. There is no treatment required as this exam will include only a general examination, checking eye conditions, and medical record review if requested on the initial VA request. The Practitioner will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs for disability award determinations.

- The opportunity is to support disabled U.S. Veterans
- Providers would be conducting disability assessments on a one-time exam, non-treatment basis.
- Flexible schedule (set your own schedule based on your availability)

- An active state license/certification in good standing free of significant sanctions or malpractice claims.
- Providers must have an office to perform these examinations.
- Provider must have Visual Field test capable of 16 meridian points.
- Reimbursement rates include: Eye exam, Perimeter Test, and Medical Opinion as used by either Humphrey or Octopus for checking of Static Perimetry, Threshold/Glaucoma, and Kinetic Testing
