Scientific Data Analyst

TDB Communications is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scientific Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will be able to integrate comprehensive responsive, efficient, and cost-effective information management support services while incorporating all HHS and CDC technical and security standards and requirements with the NCIRD scientific setting. This is a hybrid role, the candidate would report into a Atlanta, GA location.

Responsibilities :

Consults and collaborates with statistical, data science, and public health professionals in the collection, linkage, processing, coding, classification, and analysis of public health surveillance.

• Evaluates and interprets data extracts and reports from various systems assessing relevant data sources' validity and reliability to meet project needs to aid stakeholders in understanding and utilizing analytical reports.
• Assists in preparing a physical requirements and developing comprehensive reports that include discussion of substantive issues related to data science methodology for public health surveillance and related applications.
• Produces static and interactive data visualizations to communicate findings to internal and external audiences.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's, graduate, a higher-level degree in major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences, or allied sciences propriate to the work of the position. Alternate degrees may consist of - a degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines. Candidate may qualify on a combination of education and experience.

Base rate : $80 - 90k, annual
