What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail Clerk position at TDEC?
TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks a Temporary Mailroom Clerk to support our client in the Oakland, MD area. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 2-3 months, however could transition to long term.
Mailroom Clerk
Responsibilities and Duties
Training will be provided.
- Sort incoming mail
- Count envelopes and mail pieces
- Analyzes all filing and mail processing assignments
- Prepares documents for scanning
- Reviews and inspects work to assure compliance with job instructions, requirements and other procedural instructions
Qualifications
- High school education or necessary work permits if still in High School.
- Detail-oriented
- Good verbal skills
- Basic English and math skills
- Time management skills
- Display professional work ethic and appearance
- Successful candidates must pass background and credit check
- Must be located near Oakland, MD
