Rental Supervisor

TDF Fleet is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Rental Supervisor in our Midland location. Providing exceptional service experience for customers and supporting the Rental Manager with the training, scheduling, and supervision of department employees.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and maintain appropriate staffing levels, including onboarding/offboarding, ensuring the best team for the Rental department.
• Lead, train, and mentor staff on company culture, brand messaging, and policies.
• Ensure proper orientation and ongoing training for new and current employees.
• Conduct regular performance reviews in line with company standards.
• Facilitate team meetings to communicate process improvements and company updates.
• Set personnel schedules based on business and customer needs.
• Ensure staff can operate effectively in the absence of the Rental Manager.
• Build strong customer relationships and meet rental expectations.
• Oversee vehicle deliveries, pickups, and timely completion of rental agreements.
• Manage daily business reports, vehicle maintenance scheduling, and customer complaints.
• Handle commercial accounts and monitor overdue rentals.

What you'll need:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous experience managing people preferred
• A commitment to delighting customers through attitude, attention and effort
• Demonstrate leadership skills and a passion for teamwork
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated planning and time management skills
• Able to solve problems independently following company guidelines and policies
