Description
TDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Management (DM) and Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the execution of CM/DM processes to ensure the effective development, maintenance, and management of software and system configurations across various stages of the program lifecycle.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in the execution of CM/DM to include the following:
- CM document development and maintenance
- Software change control
- Change request management
- Configuration status accounting and reporting
- Configuration control board membership and support
- Software and documentation release activity management
- Measurement data collection and reporting.
2. Demonstrated ability to develop and track program-level process documentation.
3. Assist in the creation of policy planning and the development of CM and software procedures.
4. Possesses experience with a variety of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. CMPro experience is highly desired.
5. Possess a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
6. Accepts vendor-submitted changes and confirms they align with PLM requirements via established audit processes/procedures. Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
7. Developer and Administrator of program PLM data schemas and procedural workflows for each vendor.
8. Must possess expertise in CM tools (like Git).
9. Must possess strong analysis and reporting skills.
10. Oversees the execution of CM and DM audits for Configuration Items (CIs) and software baselines to determine compliance with applicable requirements.
11. Must be able to manage customer relationships and interact with peer and/or functional working groups effectively.
Requirements
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
2. Must have a valid US passport OR the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
Travel:
This position may require up to approximately 10% travel.
