Essential Duties
- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain backflow prevention devices in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Testing: Conduct regular testing of backflow preventers to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with local regulations.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair any issues with backflow prevention systems, ensuring they operate effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs performed on backflow devices.
- Compliance: Stay updated on local and state regulations regarding backflow prevention and ensure all work meets these standards.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to explain the importance of backflow prevention and provide recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
- 0-2 years of Backflow servicing & repair needed.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must possess a backflow license/certification.
- Ability to read basic schematics.
- Must be able to use app-based technology.
- Professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capability.
- Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
