ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in promoting quality initiatives to ensure appropriate documentation and design controls.
  • Support the coordination of quality system procedures and documentation to align with the Company's quality objectives.
  • Participate in the design review process as needed.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering departments to ensure suppliers meet the Company’s quality requirements.
  • Aid in investigations related to quality issues, working with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to develop countermeasures and respond to customers as needed.

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES : This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS : Some experience or relevant training in a quality role within the electronics assembly industry.

    Educational background in a related technical field or experience as an electronic assembly technician.

    EXPERIENCE : Entry level or some practical experience in a relevant field is necessary, supported by engineering schooling or technical experience as a technician.

    EDUCATION : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school. Combination of school and experience will be considered.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

    COMPUTER SKILLS : Ability to navigate and use internet / intranet and other programs such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access, or Company-wide cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Understanding of mathematical concepts

    REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
