What are the responsibilities and job description for the Midnight Personal Care Worker (DSP) position at TDL Group, Inc?
Shifts will be 10pm-8am. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Duties:
- Provide care and support to individuals in need, including elderly, disabled, or chronically ill patients
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Assist with mobility and transfer of clients, including lifting and positioning
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to coordinate care for clients
Skills:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and protocols
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is a plus
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals as required
