The Dispatch Assistant is vital in supporting the Dispatcher, enhancing the freight department’s efficiency, facilitating effective communication, and guaranteeing exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding service delivery.

This role hinges on excellent customer service, precision, and managing multiple tasks effectively.

Job Duties Include :

• Answering phones & radio transmissions
• Transmit clear / reliable information to drivers
• Ensure the accuracy of all documents based on customer billing requirements
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all delivery locations.
• Maintain driver files to track TWIC, endorsement expectations, and base access requirements
• Assist customers and the billing department with questions or concerns
• Maintain contact with customers to ensure positive business relations
• Maintain all shipping documents, including bills of landings, manifests, temperature control logs, inventory, fuel receipts, incident reports, and emergency response and reporting.
• Provides assistance and support to the billing office by handling inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring smooth operation of billing procedures.

Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with pay starting at $25 per hour, depending on experience.
