Great news! We have immediate openings for Overnight Route Drivers to deliver fresh-baked doughnuts from our Chattanooga distribution center to our local customers. We set you up with the training, equipment, and delivery truck that you will need to be successful – we just need you to come with a can-do attitude and a desire to better yourself.

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Trip Duties:
- Conduct a thorough pre-trip vehicle inspection at the start of each shift using a handheld device to ensure safety and compliance.
- Efficiently load products (up to 20 lbs each) into the truck, following the designated loading plan for optimal organization and transport.
On The Route:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety policies, with driving habits monitored through Lytx telematics systems to promote safe practices and sound judgment.
- Utilize a handheld device for route information and navigation. Visual and audible guidance through Google Maps is available as needed
- Any non-compliance is viewed as a valuable growth opportunity and will be supported by personalized, one-on-one coaching sessions with Distribution Center Supervisor.
Store Delivery:
- Park safely in compliance with company guidelines by backing into designated spaces, avoiding restricted zones, and managing vehicle speed with caution while navigating parking areas.
- Accurately select and verify invoices and corresponding products for each store, ensuring that all items are accounted for and in the correct location.
- Identify, count, and inspect products for expiration, recording all data accurately in handheld device.
- Remove expired products and restock new items according to the approved planogram.
- Execute all tasks with professionalism as a public representative of the company.
Post-Route Duties:
- Safely unload expired products, trash, trays, and baskets.
- Thoroughly clean and wipe down the cab interior, ensuring the truck and equipment are returned in a clean and serviceable condition.
Training:
- Engage in three days of hands-on training with experienced drivers who provide real-time feedback to help new drivers develop safe habits and enhance their proficiency.
- Receive comprehensive instruction on all equipment and processes, including safety videos and corresponding driving assessments.
What We Need from You:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Availability to work overnight shifts between 6 PM and 6 AM (shift schedule may vary).
- Ensure you can get at least seven hours of restful sleep during the day to prioritize your safety and the well-being of those around you.
- Willingness to work any day of the week.
- Clean drug screen required (including testing negative for marijuana).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years. A copy of your past three-year MVR report is required at the time of the interview. You can obtain online here: https://www.tn.gov/safety/driver-services/mvr.html.
- Confidence in operating a 10-foot box truck on highways, busy streets, and in parking lots.
- Ability to obey all traffic rules and avoid safety hazards.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
- Professional interaction with store staff and customers.
- Openness to receiving feedback and coaching regarding monitored driving habits.
