Overview
Responsible for technical leadership and systems integration of innovative EMAT inline inspection system sustainment. Leads the engineering technical development, verification, validation and field support of product and services through change and / or development process and product lifecycle. Collaborates and coordinates with product management, operations and sales, to support commercialization, sales and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :
- Leads technical design and system integration of change and / or development projects.
- Leads resolution of technical issues throughout the product lifecycle and product sustainment.
- Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions to complex problems and mitigate technical risk while ensuring best practices are shared.
- Keep current in latest technologies. Develops and presents white papers to conferences and associations in support and promotion of technologies and services.
- Supports the introduction of the new product or service to the operations group.
- Understands the competitor technical capabilities and can assess competitive advantages and disadvantages. Collaborates with product management, program and project managers, engineering management, technology realization / testing, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure best technical direction.
- Ensures that technical solutions meet customer needs.
- Supports and participates in the organization's continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements, by complying with the Safety and Quality policy and procedures and meeting the safety and quality objectives established by TDW.
