Job Description: We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Laboratory Manager to oversee the operations and management of our ISO 17025 accredited laboratory facilities in Fuquay-Varina, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the lab, maintaining safety, managing equipment, coordinating projects, planning for the future, and leading a team of technicians and engineers. Primary duties include coordinating scheduling of resources and tests, managing inventory of high voltage testing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of test results.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in high voltage testing, including 2 years in leadership roles. You should also have proven project management abilities, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, particularly in the areas of high voltage systems and insulation testing.
