Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Job Summary: Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to build our products. Perform wire harness prepping & assembly with attention to quality using blueprints and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  •      Inspect and verify all items ordered
  •      Inspection verification drawing comparison/veracity checks, etc. on electrical connectors and cable assemblies
  •      Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to build our products. Complete all tasks needed from start to finish cable assemblies.
  •      Read and understand blueprints, schematics, industry and company standards, military and federal specifications and standards, and company procedures for inspection purposes.
  •      Interface with stockroom and engineering staff, QC and/or QA Manager for clarification or interpretation of blueprints/schematics as required
  •      Be cognizant of Company’s ISO 9001-2008 QMS Policy and procedures; their relevance and importance in daily activities and strive to continually contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
  •      Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
  •      Notify management of any production abnormality or unsafe condition and/or practice

Requirements

What your background should look like:

  •      HS Diploma or equivalent GED Required
  •      Minimum two (2) years’ experience, OEM wire harness assembly or similar wire assembly.
  •      Familiar with calipers, basic hand tools, cutters, heat gun, wire stripper.
  •      Ability to read blueprints and wire drawings
  •      Familiarity with ISO 9001
  •      Attention to detail is imperative
  •      Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
  •      Good written and oral communication skills.
  •      Team Player willing to help production team to complete assigned tasks.
  •      Flexibility to work extended hours, as required.

  •      Maximum weight to be lifted or carried: Up to 50 lbs.
  •      Approximate number of hours sitting: 4 Hours
  •      Approximate number of hours standing: 2 Hours
  •      Approximate number of hours walking: 2 Hours

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $41,600 – $45,760 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary Incentive(s) Benefits

Salary : $41,600 - $45,760
