Responsibilities and Requirements
As an Assembly Operator II, you will be responsible for performing various tasks such as preparing machines for assembly processes, operating automatic assembly machines, loading reels of strip terminals and housing onto assembly machines, making adjustments to properly align mating parts in machine, clearing jams and inspecting finished product. You will also need to document corrective actions and production data, package product and prepare completed boxes for transport to other areas within facility and initiate orders for materials and supplies, track and record inventory.
Key qualifications include passing the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude test, successfully completing a print reading and precision measuring skills review by the supervisor and having a high school diploma or GED required. Self-motivation, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
