TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems, or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.


TE Connectivity's Regional Account Manager (RAM) will develop a solid and trusting relationship with strategic customers in the territory. The ideal candidate will have an outside sales & technical background and in building strong relationships. Experience in the Renewable & Data center industries would be a plus (Wind, Solar, BESS, OEM, DCs). The RAM works with the business management team, product management and TE support & services functions to ensure the customer needs are met and in alignment with the Company’s strategic growth plan. The RAM will also travel (up to 50%) to manage existing TE accounts and meet with prospective customers in a set territory (Central/Midwest region). The RAM will also manage contracted manufacturing representatives in the territory.


Remote Job – Ideally living in the Northwest Region in one of the following metro areas: Seattle, WA - Portland, OR - Salt Lake City, UT. Territory includes the following: WA, OR, ID, MT, ND, SD, WY, UT & Northern, CO.

Your daily tasks:

Technical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key account technical needs and requirements.
  • Promote TE Energy technologies (LV/MV/HV) and product portfolio with the customer and drive projects. Serve as the SME
  • Participate in proposal review and negotiation process.
  • Manage deliverable requirements to ensure current and future metrics are exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ensure that engineering, procurement, construction, and logistics elements of projects are executed in a manner consistent with the as-sold expectations of company customers.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) – as a technical resource for customers – specifying TE products with Owners, EPCs, and Electrical Contractors within multiple industry verticals (with concentrated focus on Renewables, DCs and OEMs)
  • Development/Delivery of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support project development efforts.

Commercial Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze various markets and provide trends in the industry
  • Proactively address open customer issues and coordinate with internal groups to ensure that quotations, quality complaints, VOC, and technical information is provided to the customer within agreed timeframes.
  • Develop and implement effective lead campaign strategies – outgoing calls and emails
  • Development of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support project development efforts.
  • Coordination library of projects throughout the Americas region- make outgoing calls to qualify projects.
  • Identify and understand current and future customer needs and opportunities to introduce and sell products, services, and solutions to the customer.
  • Develop and implement strategic planning to improve results and meet deliveries according to the proposed timeline. Use of CRMs (Salesforce)

What your background should look like:

  • BS in Engineering or Business Admin or any related discipline.
  • 8 years of Industry experience or renewable industry (manufacturing, contractor, and/or electrical distribution).
  • Travel requirement: 50%.
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  • Working knowledge of office productivity software such as MS-Office suite, including advanced use of MS Excel and CRM Sales software for project pipeline and conversion management
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Able to work both independently and as a team. Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Decision making ability. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong customer service skills with focus on listening to the customer.
  • Working knowledge of engineering design, CAD, procurement, and construction practices and procedures. Multi-project execution experience.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and challenging targets.
  • Mobility: Flexibility in working days and travelling. You set the schedule.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $120,400 - $180,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary Incentive(s) Benefits
