As a Wheelman or Expediter, your role is all about streamlining the food operations of the restaurant. Te’Jun Requirements:
- Must meet or exceed the standards set forth by Te’Jun, The Texas Cajun Restaurants.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be honest and dependable.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work weekends (our busiest days are Friday and Saturday).
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- Must have the ability to remain friendly, move fast, work hard, and make good decisions, even under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and lift 25-60 pounds.
- Must take initiative and be motivated to grow and learn.
- Must be able to work individually and as part of a high-performance team.
- Must have excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expedite food prep and plating.
- Coordinate different areas of the kitchen to function as one team
- Monitor quality of service and food.
- Ensure proper food handling practices and food safety practices.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness.
- Address customer concerns.
- Ensure proper closing procedures.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior restaurant expediter experience.
- Excellent coordination and time management skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable while interacting with customers.
- Critical thinking skills for resolving customer issues.
*IMPORTANT NOTE*
The Keller location is currently under construction. Because of this, training will be done in our Red Oak location at 301 I-35E, Red Oak, TX 75154 and will be mandatory. You must have reliable transportation to Red Oak while training.
