Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Buss tables and assist with maintaining the dining area to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen operations is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
