Childcare Provider

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated families to join our team. In this role, child care will be provided to “4“ children ages 0-3. I will engage your children of various ages, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met while fostering their growth and learning. Preparing them for Pre-K readiness and building their socialization skills. $11 per hour per kid Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, additional time to 6pm will be $15 per hour. Breakfast, Lunch and Snack, will be included per day.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Stay informed about childhood development principles to enhance the care provided.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure that health protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or daycare settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive child interactions.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents alike.
• Ability to create a warm, engaging atmosphere that encourages children's growth and learning.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.
