Job Description
Strong knowledge in the design of IT Infrastructure including but not limited to: structured cabling (fiber/copper, outside plant), technology room design, mission critical facility design, etc.
Good knowledge of IT requirements including but not limited to:
structural support requirements; cabling pathways; power and grounding,
Building standards, code compliance, etc.
General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure and system architecture.
Support our Senior Consultants who serve as client advocate for technology aspects of the project(s) driving and coordinating with the client’s stakeholders and the architects, engineers, general contractors, and technology installation vendors.
Support our Senior Consultants with Construction administration of projects. Participate in OAC meetings, site visits, and field observation reporting. Work with General Contractors and technology installation vendors to ensure installations meet performance, cost, schedule, and warranty requirements.
Support our Senior Consultants to oversee systems commissioning, training, hand-off, and owner acceptance for exceptional client satisfaction.
Support our Senior Consultants and PMs deliver great project results so we develop and expand client relationships and with project team partners (PMs, Architects, MEPs, GCs, etc.)
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2 years of cabling design, installation or field experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience in an Cabling design, installation, or estimating role.
RCDD certification preferred, not required (or 2 years of design).
CTS, PSP, LEED, and PMP certifications are a plus.
Experience in Wifi design a plus:
Wi-Fi design (Ekahau software)
