Assistant Child Care Teacher

Well-established Burlington Childcare and Preschool seeking qualified Family Child Care Assistants. Full-Time as well as Part-Time opportunities available as well as Mother's Hours. Will assist in certifying the right candidate. Must be able to pass a Background Check. Generous time-off including school vacations and all Federal Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a classroom setting.
• Implement lesson plans and activities that promote early childhood education and development.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to develop and adapt curriculum based on individual student requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and communication skills
• Ability to implement engaging lesson plans
• Knowledge of behavior management and childhood development
• Experience working with children (special education and early intervention experience a plus but not required)
• Familiarity with curriculum development and literacy education

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
