Position Summary:
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for selling select educational products and materials into the Pre-K – 12 market.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales of specific educational products into PreK-12 academic market.
- Drive sales opportunities within the assigned territories and accounts via phone calls and email correspondence.
- Present selected educational solutions over the phone to potential customers for the purpose of securing a sale.
- Work with customers on pricing proposals for each sale.
- Maintains records of all sales interactions with customers and internal departments using a customer relationship management system.
- Communicate with local sales consultants as needed.
- Maintain pipeline of forecasted opportunities.
- 25 hours / week, January – June - 9AM – 2PM Local Time Zone
Pay Rate:
- $25.00/hr. 1% Commission
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Years of experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in inside sales and cold calling.
- Degree Required: High School.
- Travel Required: None
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods of time, including at a computer
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse
Work Conditions:
Home office environment.
