AP Chemistry, AP Physics, Honors Algebra II & AP Calculus Tutor Needed for After-School/Weekends (Essex & Morris County)

Description: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable tutor to provide one-on-one and small group instruction for high school students in Essex and Morris County. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP Chemistry, AP Physics, Honors Algebra II, and AP Calculus, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging and understandable manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop personalized lesson plans and study strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Provide support with homework, test preparation, and concept mastery.
  • Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
  • Communicate progress and challenges with students and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in AP Chemistry, AP Physics, Honors Algebra II, and AP Calculus.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and encouraging approach to teaching.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
