High School ENGLISH Teaching opportunity available with a fantastic PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL in the north Miami, Florida area.
START FEBRUARY 1, 2025
Full-Time, permanent, on-campus teaching position with college-prep, private school. Small class sizes. School has wonderful leadership team.
ONLY TEACH MONDAY - THRUSDAY - - OFF ON FRIDAYS!!
Assignment includes teaching 5 English classes, 9th, 10th and 11th grades.
9th grade ELA world literature I and composition
10th grade ELA world literature II and composition
11 grade ELA American and British literature and composition
All are regular grade level classes.
REQUIRED : a BA degree in ENGLISH.
PREFERRED : Teacher Certification and 3 years of successful teaching experience. MA degree a plus but not required.
MUST LOVE TEACHING HIGH SCHOOL age students and know how to connect with them.
Salary is approx $50,000-$60,000 annually plus benefits package (depends on degrees & years of experience).
