Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person teacher with experience teaching kids with high energy for a 6 year old boy in 1st grade at his home in Orange Park, FL 32065 Monday-Thursdays after school 4pm-7pm (or 3:30pm-6:30pm). This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position after school teaching just one student that pays $50/hour ($150/visit).
Looking for a teacher who is able to teach and facilitate activities for an energetic boy in 1st grade at his home. The teacher will work to identify behavioral and educational needs, help advance his abilities (academic and in his areas of interest), and facilitate play and physical activities with him.
The right teacher will be able to foster curiosity, learning, intelligence and imagination, as well as playtime and be able to participate in physical activities. Looking for a teacher who can handle high energy and facilitate activities through the child's interests, nature, sports, education-related outings, etc. The teacher should be able to teach boundaries and partitioning, but still encourage overall enthusiasm and physical and mental play.
Teacher candidates should have at least a BA/BS, and a minimum of two years teaching or tutoring experience working with students. A behavioral background is preferred, but not required. Prior Montessori and/or Christian curriculum experience is a plus. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in person in Orange Park, FL 32065 Monday-Thursday after school from 4pm-7pm or 3:30pm-6:30pm.
