Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Teachers On Call, a Kelly Education Company, is looking to hire long-term substitute teachers to help in the Moorhead Area Public Schools. We have multiple long-term openings that we are looking to fill for the 2024-25 school year.

Pay for long-term assignments start at $150/day (1-10 days), then goes up to $160/day (11-30 days), and goes up again to $250.97/day for assignments that are 31 consecutive days. Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:

· Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:

· Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans

· Teaching students on a variety of classroom topics/courses

· Building positive relationships

· Assigning reasonable tasks and homework

· Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation

· Create a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students

· Adapt to the various learning styles of students

· For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments

Minimum requirements:

· Valid Teaching License (MN) in the subject & grade level of the assignment that you would be filling in for.
