Teachers On Call, a Kelly Education Company, is hiring substitute teachers in the Moorhead area for the 2024-25 school year.

The pay rate for day-to-day (choose your own schedule) substitute teachers in Moorhead Area Public Schools is $150/day a bonus of $110 for every 10 days worked. 2 half days count towards a full day, and days do not need to be consecutive to be considered for the bonus.

TOC is offering reimbursement to North Dakota residents who obtain their MN-Short Call teaching licensing, which you can obtain with any bachelor's degree (does not need to be a teaching degree).

Long-Term Assignments are occasionally available as well. Must hold license in correct field to be considered. Pay for long-term assignments start at $160/day (11-30 days) and goes up to $250.97/day for assignments that are 31 consecutive days.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:

· Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:

· Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans

· Teaching students on a variety of classroom topics/courses

· Building positive relationships

· Assigning reasonable tasks and homework

· Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation

· Create a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students

· Adapt to the various learning styles of students

· For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments

Minimum requirements:

· Substitute Teacher – Bachelor’s degree with MN Teaching or Substitute License
