Teachers To Go is looking for a part-time in person high school teacher to provide 1-to-1 private instruction in all subjects for a 17 year old boy in 11th grade and a 14 year old girl in 9th grade in their home using their online homeschool curriculum. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours teaching two students Monday-Thursday mornings from 8am-12pm (or 8:30am-12:30pm) that pays $60/hour ($960/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.
Looking for a teacher with high school teaching or tutoring experience to oversee all 11th grade and 9th grade subjects using the students’ Excel High School online homeschool curriculum. The right teacher will be able to keep the students engaged and learning while moving forward and hitting goals. Looking for a teacher who can fill the role of private teacher and tutor for both students.
The right teacher will be patient, mature, creative, and able to explain things differently when necessary in a way that is reactive to each student’s learning style and needs. Looking for a teacher with good communication and organization skills. Must have the ability to monitor and assist with various subjects, and have a good understanding of upper level secondary academics. Mainly, the teacher will teach the subjects in the Excel curriculum and provide general academic coaching in a way that is interesting.
Minimum of a BA/BS is required, along with 3 years minimum professional teaching or tutoring experience. Full-time high school teaching and/or tutoring experience along with state certification is preferred. Must be comfortable teaching and assisting students with multiple subjects at the high school level.
