Teachers To Go is looking for an elementary math teacher to provide part-time in-person tutoring for an 11 year old girl in 5th grade once or twice a week either after school or on weekends, either at her home in Summerlin West 89138 or at her school in Spring Valley 89113. This is a wonderful part-time tutoring opportunity for the right math teacher: a flexible part-time position working around your schedule tutoring just one student for 1.5 hours once or twice a week, that pays $75/hour ($112.50/each 1.5 hr session). A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female.
Looking for a qualified math teacher/tutor with recent elementary and/or middle school experience teaching and tutoring 5th-6th grade math. The teacher will provide tutoring for 1.5 hours after school or on weekends once or twice a week at times that work for both the teacher and the family. The teacher will develop a rapport with the student and help her improve her math abilities, including reviewing, reteaching, and expanding on current math concepts.
The right teacher will be energetic, engaging, relatable with a positive outlook, and comfortable in a Christian environment. Looking for a teacher who is able to help instill and grow the student’s confidence as a learner, while communicating regularly with the parents and providing them with updates. The teacher should also be able to suggest and use appropriate chosen math-related materials for the purpose of working with the student to accomplish goals.
A minimum BA/BS in education or a related field and at least 1 year professional math teaching/tutoring experience working with students at the late elementary or middle school level is required. State teacher certification is preferred, but not required.
