Job Summary:
Support the Teaching & Learning department by designing, creating, editing, and
revising curriculum materials, updating websites, and creating digital content
using various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and edit curriculum materials for the Teaching & Learning department, ensuring they are aligned with district standards and guidelines
- Collaborate closely with department specialists on the layout, design, and editing of curriculum materials, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed
- Maintain and update digital curriculum and assessment files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible
- Utilize various publishing software and online tools to prepare materials for both printing and digital dissemination
- Create and maintain the department's website and related online resources, ensuring content is current and engaging
- Regular and on-time attendance required
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities department, ensuring they are aligned with district standards and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Excellent proficiency in typing, with good accuracy; above average test battery

Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills

Advanced computer proficiency with Google Workspace, MS Word, MS Excel, and
basic website management
Skills & Competencies:

Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and cloud-based platforms

Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred

Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to
meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously -
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and
work closely with diverse staff members -
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Commitment to being a continuous learner and staying current with educational
technology and digital tools
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Office-based setting, often within a school district’s special education department
- Fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and tasks requiring organization and multitasking
- Light lifting (up to 25 pounds), such as handling files, office supplies, or educational materials
