What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Dishwasher position at Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center?
Teaching Tree Early Childhood Learning Center is a non-profit childcare center hiring a part-time dishwasher for our kitchen. The position is part time Monday-Friday from 8:45-1:45. These hours are subject to change slightly. Teaching Tree participates in the Colorado Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) and we serve 3 family style meals to over 200 children daily.
Candidates will be responsible for working alongside the kitchen manager and prep cook.
Prior kitchen experience and safe food handling classes preferred. However, we will train on site for safe food handling via Servsafe as well as CACFP guidelines.
Starting pay is $15.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
- Eighteen years of age or older
- A current medical examination showing good health
- Basic knowledge of commercial food preparation, health department requirements, and safe food preparation and storage
- Knowledge of requirements of USDA Food Program or willingness to successfully complete training program
- Other requirements as mandated by applicable local and state agencies
- Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
A successful candidate must be physically able to meet the following requirements with reasonable accommodations in order to successfully perform duties as the Kitchen Manager:
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Climb stepladder to reach pantry items
- Operate dishwasher, ovens and stove
- Deliver food to classrooms by using pushcarts
- Ability to bend, twist and stay on your feet for extended periods of time without restraint
