Christ the King School in Des Moines is seeking a full-time passionate and dedicated Certified Art Teacher who is also interested in teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The ideal candidate will inspire students through innovative teaching methods that promote creativity and critical thinking, while fostering a love for both the arts and sciences. Our school serves students in preschool - 8th grade.
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for various grade levels, focusing on techniques, art history, and creative expression.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and self-expression among students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress in art, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
