Christ the King School in Des Moines is seeking a full-time passionate and dedicated Certified Art Teacher who is also interested in teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our school serves students in preschool - 8th grade.
Christ the King Catholic School offers competition pay, benefits, and 401k package. Base salary is $54,000 and increases with experience.
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for various grade levels, focusing on techniques, art history, and creative expression.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and self-expression among students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress in art, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Design and implement innovative lessons for STEM, ensuring alignment with state standards and educational goals.
- Stay current with trends in both art and STEM fields to continuously improve teaching practices.
