The Humboldt Community School District is seeking an Assistant Middle School Principal to join our team beginning July 1, 2025. Humboldt CSD has a strong academic reputation and serves approximately 1,400 students, including 450 in grades 5-8. Our school activities maintain high participation rates while upholding a standard of excellence. The Humboldt community is known for its outstanding support of the district and offers residents an exceptional quality of life.
Position Expectations
We are looking for a team-oriented leader who:
- Builds strong relationships with students, staff, and the community.
- Communicates effectively with all stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and community members.
- Effectively manages discipline and attendance.
- Leads and supports teacher development and school improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess or be eligible for a valid Iowa Principal and Evaluator license.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
- Contract: 260-day, year-round contract.
