What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Volleyball Coach position at TeachIowa?
East Union Community School District is seeking qualified candidates for the Assistant High School Volleyball Coaching position.
Applicants should possess a strong desire to help build a true program and culture, while working side by side with the Head Coach on the development of the East Union volleyball program. Along with volleyball knowledge and experience, a qualified candidate should have a plan for not only in-season development, but also off-season workouts. Candidates should have a strong knowledge base consisting of foundational skills needed to be successful, practice structure, weight lifting program, and accountability processes. A successful candidate will also assist in developing a strong connection between our players and our community with volunteering opportunities and working with the REC youth programs. The successful candidate will also work closely with the athletic director to ensure the team is following all school and state expectations. All applicants must possess a coaching endorsement or authorization from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
