Job Summary:
A School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities. This role requires adherence to traffic laws, school policies, and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Transportation: Drive students to and from school and extracurricular activities in a timely and safe manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues to the transportation director.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, school policies, and safety procedures, including proper loading and unloading of students.
- Student Supervision: Maintain order and discipline on the bus, ensuring students follow safety rules. Report any misconduct to school administrators.
- Emergency Preparedness: Respond to emergencies or accidents according to training and school policies. Provide assistance to students if needed.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes and schedules, making adjustments for road conditions or detours when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:
