Elementary Classroom Teacher (1st Grade)
Holy Family Catholic School seeks an elementary classroom teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Holy Family Catholic School is seeking candidates that possess a strong educational background, solid organizational skills, superior communication skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities. The Elementary School Classroom Teacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering academic and social growth of our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young minds in a diverse community,
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the elementary classroom curriculum guidelines and educational standards.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning.
- Manage classroom activities and behavior to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development and achievement.
- Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance the learning environment,
- Assess student progress through evaluations, tests, performances, and assignments.
- Provide mentoring and support to students who may require additional assistance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (required).
- Multi Subject Teaching credential with a classroom setting background.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management.
- Knowledge of educational administration principles.
- Strong behavioral management skills.
- Ability toadapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Familiarity with library services and literacy education.
