What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Music Teacher position at TeachIowa?
The HMS School District is looking for qualified applicants to fill a 1.0 FTE Music Teacher position for the 2025-2026 School year. This person would be responsible for TK-5 music and 5th grade band. Other structures will be considered based on experience and certification.
HMS Elementary School serves approximately 250 students in grades preschool-4th grade and is located in Hartley, Iowa. We are a PBIS school and the HMS School District uses the PLC Model of collaboration to collect data and plan for student success. We are located in beautiful Northwest Iowa, just 40 minutes south of the Minnesota border and the Iowa Great Lakes/Okoboji area, 70 minutes from Sioux City and 90 minutes from Sioux Falls!
