What are the responsibilities and job description for the HS/MS Vocal Music Teacher (2025-26) position at TeachIowa?
To instruct students in fundamental concepts of singing, music theory such as rhythm, melody, pitch & tempo, listening skills & performances.
Day-to-day duties may include:
- coaching individuals for a particular role in a play or musical.
- planning lessons and organising resources.
- teaching vocal and breathing exercises and techniques.
- instructing in melody, harmony and improvisation.
- helping students to prepare for music exams.
- organising performances.
Vocal music teacher to create a positive learning envireonment & motivate students to achieve their goals. Vocal Music Teacher will also lead & oversee all rehearsals & musical performances.
