Grundy Center and Gladbrook-Reinbeck School Districts are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Human Resources and Systems Services Support Director to join our team for the 2025-2026 School Year. This is a shared position, with responsibilities split equally (50/50) between the two districts, and it is a 225-day contract. Pay and Benefits will be through Grundy Center CSD. The selected candidate will play a critical role in supporting district operations by managing human resources functions, ensuring policy compliance, overseeing payroll administration, grant writing, and supporting student services across both districts.
The successful candidate will lead recruitment and hiring efforts, develop job descriptions, manage onboarding processes, and ensure alignment with district policies and expectations. Additionally, this individual will oversee employee benefits administration, maintain compliance with FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave programs, and provide guidance on dispute resolution and policy interpretation. As the Title IX Coordinator, Level I Investigator, and Equity Director for both districts, the director will ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including Chapter 102 investigations. Helps coordinate Workplace Learning.
The director may oversee student support services such as 504 Plans, Special Education, ELL programming, and MTSS implementation, while also managing attendance interventions and preschool programming.
The ideal candidate would have an Iowa Administrative Licensure or equivalent.
