What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Band/Music Teacher position at TeachIowa?
The Humboldt Community School District is looking for a 5-8 band/music teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Candidates must be willing to teach both band and music. Humboldt CSD has a long tradition of high student achievement in the fine arts and strong family and community support. We are looking for someone who will add to our building’s positive climate and culture. We collaborate and work together in teams, so a sense of teamwork is a must! As the teacher, we are looking for someone who is involved in designing a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth for each student. Our classrooms are well-supplied with updated technology and a rigorous curriculum. Teacher retention rate is high because we provide beginning and career teachers with 1:1 mentoring and coaching as well as on-going professional development that is rigorous, relevant, and job-embedded.
