St. Mary’s Catholic Schools in Storm Lake, Iowa, is seeking Pre-K through 12th grade Assistant Principal. The Assistant Principal is responsible to provide spiritual and academic leadership for Saint Mary’s Catholic School System and create a common spiritual and academic vision for the school. With the responsibility and authority to lead the school in its mission of developing highly educated and spiritually healthy disciples and citizens, the Principal supports the primary educational mission of parents through rigorous academics, mentorship of staff, and faithful witness to Gospel values.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required or Preferred:
- Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
- Master’s degree in educational leadership required.
- Possess, or have ability to obtain, an Iowa principal’s license for the appropriate grade levels
- Strong organizational and communication skills required, including the ability to coordinate and present at public meetings and events
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of people on events and programs required
