Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to serve with our team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
- Assist in development and managing the EMS annual budget, grants and professional services.
- Develop and administer schedule to assure services are provided according to state and local regulations.
- Serve as EMT/Paramedic as necessary.
- Oversee emergency vehicles, equipment and supply inspections for compliance.
- The successful candidate will supervise and direct all EMS personnel.
- Provide clinical oversight including employee certification, training, and quality assurance, scope of practice and standards of equipment.
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with all policies.
- Assists in the development and implementation of organizational goals.
- Maintain concise, effective and successful communication among key inter-local entities including hospitals, nursing homes, law enforcement, first responders, and other emergency service providers.
Experience
- Education/Certification: Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the applicant/incumbent with the knowledge, skills and ability required to successfully perform the job.
- Certifications or Licensures as an EMT-Paramedic or equivalent emergency medical credentials.
- Preferred Degree in EMS or 2 years of college.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible emergency management service experience.
- Preferred 2 years of proven leadership experience.
