About the Role:

We are looking for a driven and analytical Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates or Analysts with 1-3 years of experience with a degree in Mathematics or Computer Science to apply their skills in the dynamic and data-intensive oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, performance tracking, and strategic planning through data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets from drilling, production, and operational systems to extract actionable insights
• Develop reports and dashboards for engineering, operations, and executive teams
• Work with geologists, engineers, and business analysts to support data-driven decision-making
• Monitor data integrity and assist in cleaning, validating, and organizing data
• Support predictive modeling and performance forecasting initiatives
• Document analytical processes and maintain detailed records of data sources and methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher upon graduation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communicator, comfortable translating technical data into business insights
• Must be available to work on-site at our Dallas, TX office
• Internship, co-op, or academic project experience
