About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Building designs to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead innovative electrical engineering projects while collaborating with a talented multidisciplinary team. If you are a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with Revit experience, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- Lead and manage electrical design projects from conception through construction, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Utilize Revit and other design tools to create and review electrical system models and drawings.
- Perform power load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on building systems design.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and local building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
