Job Description: Route Driver/Delivery Driver
As a Route Driver/Delivery Driver, the primary duties and obligations include but are not limited to delivering aftermarket automotive parts and accessories over established routes or within an established territory. The driver must pull and stage from stock in the warehouse, load, and drive a non-commercial delivery van to deliver the products to our customers.
Schedule TBD, and requires overnight stays offsite.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately pull products from warehouse stock and stage outgoing orders for delivery.
- Load and unload products from company delivery vehicles and accurately confirm & receive inbound shipments and returned goods.
- Operate non-commercial delivery vehicles to customer's locations throughout the respective territory.
- Collect COD and credit card payments from active accounts and customers.
- Stock shelves, receive goods, verify inventory, and accurately record data via scanner and/or manually.
- Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have a current driver's license
- Must meet our insurance company's standard of at least 3 years driving experience with a clean record
- Ability to operate a smartphone to collect customer payments and access the company timekeeping system
- Basic Computer Skills – ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software and inventory database programs
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Good active listening skills
- Organization and time management
Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
