We are looking for a seasoned and passionate director to help our teams execute on social media strategy and content design.How You’ll Make an ImpactYou will be an integral leader and collaborator with Arc Initiatives’ client teams, leading content strategy and creative development services across multiple projects and platforms to deliver exceptional results.You will be responsible for developing integrated and strategic social media content plans for clients across digital channels and managing and executing on content development for a number of platforms.You will work on creative design elements for clients including social media graphics, short-form video production, static digital ads, and basic webpage design and content management.You will support clients and client teams on internal and client-facing document design including reports, one-pagers, proposals, and slide decks.You will support clients on video and audio editing.You will collaborate with Arc’s marketing team to ensure social platforms and online presence and brand is consistent.You will be a member of the Arc management team where you will contribute to the firm’s business development and professional growth.You will participate in business development by pursuing new business opportunities, designing new business proposals, and participating in new business presentations and conversations.QualificationsYou have 6 years of experience working in digital content and design, preferably with 3 years spent working directly with electoral or advocacy campaigns.You have technical experience in the following areas : WordPress / Website Management Builders & ToolsAdobe Creative SuiteVideo and audio editingEmail Marketing ToolsSocial Media platformsYou are passionate about progressive causes and campaigns.You bring insights and expertise about engaging constituencies online developed from experience working on an electoral campaign, public affairs or digital strategy firm, advocacy organization, or related industry.You have 6 years of relevant professional experience that reflects an increase in management responsibilities and leadership capacity.You demonstrate flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment.You have the ability to direct and coordinate multiple projects in a collaborative way.You are committed to Arc’s values on diversity, equity, and inclusion.You are kind, friendly, and have a good sense of humor.Please keep in mind : Research has shown that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds only apply to jobs when they meet 100% of the requirements vs. their majority counterparts, which apply at a much higher rate if they meet 50-60% of the requirements.
